Westaways is a 17th Century cottage in the hamlet of Latchley inside an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Only 6 minutes walk from the river Tamar with fields and forest nearby. Local attractions include Morwelham Quay, “The Donkey Park” and the “Monkey Sanctuary”.
Why not have a packed lunch on Dartmoor or take a trip to Dartmoor Prison or perhaps ride the “Gunny Express” into Plymouth for the day, crossing over the river Tamar. a lovely train journey.
Larger towns like Tavistock with it’s popular “Wharf Theatre”, museum, shops and local pubs with live music are just a short drive away.
In the other direction there is Liskeard, Launceston, Tintagel, Cotehele Quay & House, Dartmoor National Park and Buckland Abbey are all close by.
And of course there is a Public house near by with outside sitting area with views over the valley and the river Tamar.
